Silverdale featured in this week’s edition of Bred to Win (episode 9), showcasing our commitment to staff development and what life on the farm is really like – Silverdale style!
At Silverdale, it’s not only the horses that are raised on our hills. Families grow up on the farm, our team is like family, and the Silverdale Academy gives the next generation a real start in the industry. The surrounding Southern Highlands also provides a host of amenities for all.
“If you get good staff and retain them, it’s a big saving. At Silverdale, that’s how we do it,” said Steve Grant.
“We want to make our staff very comfortable in their surroundings, give them a good life, and make sure they’ve got nice residences to live in. It’s not a hard formula once you get the hang of it.”
