De Sonic Boom

Spirit Of Boom x Demasheen

$725,000

MAIDEN MARE

De Sonic Boom, a beautiful combination of Spirit Of Boom and Fastnet Rock. Selected and raced by James Bester and his partners, and she certainly has the ‘Bester action’, a winner on debut in the Blue Diamond Preview Gr.3, all of her starts with the exception of two were in Stakes races. She was such a fast, early, good looking mare, with loads of quality. You can see her producing beautiful yearlings, that will be just like her! -Rob Petith

De Sonic Boom won the Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview (Fillies) over 1000m at Sandown, defeating 11 rivals at her racecourse debut, one of only 2 fillies to win the race on debut since it was upgraded to Group 3 status.

She was beaten just 0.75 lengths when 2nd in the Listed Jim Moloney Stakes over 1400m, defeating Amazonian Lass and was also placed behind high-class filly Charm Stone in the Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley.

“Good looking, great walking filly with a good head and remarkable hindquarter – I loved her as a yearling and even more when she won the Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview on Debut… She is still sound and has more black type left in her tank yet!” – James Bester
